The Tremortusk is effectively a walking tank, bearing a barrage of long-range weaponry that enable it to attack from nearly any angle or distance. One such Tremortusk was felled by the Easterner Aloy, who used one of its cannons to bring down the Bulwark. Due to their size, the overridden Tremortusks were outfitted with war huts that would enable a rebel group to fight from atop the machine. The Tremortusk was designed by HEPHAESTUS for the task of culling the human population, specifically hunters attacking the terraforming system's machines.ĭuring Regalla's rebellion, the rebel forces managed to override Tremortusks and add them to their forces. Like most machines of its size, the Tremortusk is largely solitary, and is only rarely found in groups of two. After a certain amount of damage, it will rear up and throw the humans off its back. Rebel Tremortusks are specially outfitted similar to war elephants of old, making them an even greater threat. Tremortusks can be encountered naturally in the wilds of the Forbidden West, but they can also be found under the control of Regalla's Rebels. Standing several meters tall, the Tremortusk towers above humans, as well as many other Zero Dawn machines. ![]() Its belly contains a massive orange Blaze sac, with a smaller amplifying sac on its chest. On its rear are four cylindrical ammo drums. Its back is lined with several long-range weapons: near the base of the head are a pair of shock cannons, which are followed by four antennae, and then a set of retractable salvo cannons in front of their rear hips. Its face bears four articulate tusks tipped with impressive orange spades, a prehensile trunk, and a pair of Plasma Cannons, the latter of which rest beneath its eyes.
